1001 Events that made America

 In my quest to find and learn all the different things of our colonial history, I picked up this book from the library. And, so far, it is very good! It covers key events of American history, and shows how our democracy has changed. Said book is entitled 1001 Events that Made America: a Patriot's Handbook by Alan Axelrod. 

 This book is a quick read, it contains a lot of great information. This is one of the things that has helped me to learn more about our amazing history. 

Overview

I am a self proclaimed Revolutionary War junkie. Follow my travels as I aim to immerse myself in the past. I will share my journey as I travel to the places of the thirteen colonies, all the stops of the Revolutionary war, and decorate my house with Colonial era housewares and anything vintage.
